The Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell is deeply committed to promoting diversity and sustaining a climate of inclusion. We strongly believe that diversity, as a driver for excellence, will prepare students to serve the needs of an increasingly multicultural patient population and will assist in working towards attaining health equity for all sectors of the community.
Through our programs and curricular innovations, we take responsibility for creating an inclusive academic milieu that supports the distinctive contribution of every individual to high quality outcomes in patient care, education, and research. Our goal is to create an environment in which individual differences are not only respected and valued, but also celebrated by everyone.

Zucker SOM Launches New Pipeline Program
The mission of the Zucker Pipeline Program (ZPP), at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell (Zucker School of Medicine), is to enhance the matriculation of students underrepresented in medicine and economically disadvantaged students to the Zucker School of Medicine.
